Once we have had an initial chat about the type and amount of input you are looking for I can share estimated costings with you. This will include contact, non-contact time and travel to give you a better idea of the costs for you and/ or your child.

I understand that things happen in life that we cannot control or predict, which may prevent a client from attending a session.  However, I also need to function as a business so I can continue to provide a high-quality service. For this reason, I have a 48-hour cancellation policy, except in exceptional circumstances. 

A Communicate Your Way speech and language therapy initial assessment visit typically lasts up to 90 minutes.  I always favour play based and fun assessment activities.

Within the assessment the following may take place:

• Discussion and case history with parents/carers.

• Observation of the child at play.

• Informal, play-based assessment.

• Formal assessment (if appropriate).​

Of course! There is no minimum number of sessions required for booking. Some clients simply want a one-time assessment, while others require longer-term therapy. If therapy is appropriate, the number of sessions can be flexibly agreed.
